What a weekend filled with skateboarding Hype!
The Open Master Skateboards Competition was fuelled by Hype Energy in order to shed a light on some of the underground talents the local scene has to offer.
The skateboarding competition was organised in 3 different categories based on age and experience.
Participants could enjoy fresh Hype Energy drinks as well as flavours yet to be released on the market.

Along with 303andGo, a skateboarding shoe company based in Alicante, Hype Energy had prominent branding across the entire course.
We even planned a dedicated graffiti to commemorate the event and the young skateboarding talent, representing the upcoming future of Spanish skateboarding.

An exclusive Hype Energy board was designed and manufactured to show appreciation to the skateboarder that put in the work, and demonstrated intense amounts of energy to put on one hell of a show.
The one-off board was given away to Erik García, who wasn’t afraid to show diversity and risk it all on handrails during the finals.

The top 5 skaters of each category walked away with free skateboard decks, hats, t-shirts and Hype power-banks to keep energy levels high.
The winners of the +16 category: Rafa Bocanegra, Erik García and Jake White

With the lack of events organised throughout the year due to COVID-19, lots of skateboarders were determined to come down and show their skills.
The contest made such a big impact that Open Masters Skateboards opened a skateboarding school for all ages, to share their love for skateboarding.
We are looking forward to the next edition of the event, and more prizes to giveaway to keep young skateboarders Hyped doing what they love.
Make sure to follow Hype Energy Spain on social media to stay updated on their journey to sharing the Hype!
